What you need to know
This washed Bourbon Papayo offers a refined and elegant cup with bright, fruit-forward acidity and a delicate floral character. Expect crisp notes of apple and white grapes alongside a juicy hint of kiwi, all resting on a smooth caramel sweetness that lingers pleasantly through the finish. Balanced, clean, and beautifully expressive, it’s the kind of coffee you want to sip slowly and appreciate with every brew.
Cultivated at 1,750 meters in the mountains of San Agustín, this lot reflects both the unique character of the rare Bourbon Papayo variety and the craftsmanship of the producers at Coffee Farm La Pelota.
We recommend it for
Pour overs, drip coffee, Aeropress, and manual brewing methods that highlight clarity, aroma, and layered sweetness. It also shines as a bright and delicate espresso.

Fabuloso find. Having explored most of the cafés around the world, finding this one this morning—close to home—is a fascinating experience. Great flat white coffee, cheese arepa—right up there with the best in the Americas—
